MARIAH & NICK'S MARRIAGE ON THE ROCKS
Mariah Carey’s marriage won’t last more than six months, according to friends. The 38-year-old singer, who wed rapper Nick Cannon in April, is so demanding her new husband won’t be able to cope with her diva-like behavior. One pal close to Mariah revealed 27-year-old Nick has become a source of ridicule for her friends and associates. The source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: “I give the marriage six months, tops. I can’t see it lasting. Nick does whatever Mariah wants him to - he’s like her puppy. It seems like he spends more time in the stores with Mariah’s credit card than he does with Mariah herself. Mariah’s assistants and friends call him ‘Whipped Nick’ behind his back. They have little respect for him because he won’t stand up for himself. However, a friend of Nick’s has vehemently denied the relationship is already in trouble, insisting Nick and Mariah are perfect for each other. The pal said: ‘Mariah needs someone to dote on her.’”

KIMORA & RUSSELL'S DIVORCE HEAT UP
Each of the hip-hop mogul’s two girls with estranged wife Kimora Lee is set to receive $20,000 a month in child support. That’s a total of $480,000 each year for kids who already live in a palatial $24 million estate in Saddle River, N.J. Their mom, a former model, is CEO of the Baby Phat fashion house. The agreement shows that until 2019, Russell Simmons will continue payments for Ming Lee, now 8, and, until 2022, for Aoki, now 5.Kimora Lee, 33, filed for divorce in March after nine years of marriage. She’s asking for primary custody of the girls and that Russell, 50, be granted “reasonable child visitation … accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”

SUMMER JAM

For this week's edition of Flashback Friday E3 Gossip decided to dig deep in the vault and pick out a classic summer jam from the 90's. This song just floods back memories of sleeping in late because school was out. Going to family cook-outs, sitting outside eating a big juicy slice of watermelon, or just cruising around town in the car with the windows rolled down (that was the good ol' days when gas was like 89 cents a gallon). Enjoy the video and have a HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Beyoncé Hosts Party for Sis' 22nd Birthday

These ladies know how to celebrate! Beyoncé Knowles threw a dance party for Solange's 22nd birthday Monday night, at the Hollywood Hills mansion, that brought out pals Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Mario and Destiny Child's Michelle Williams. On Solange's request, the DJ kept the tunes in the family, playing nearly every hit in Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z's catalogs including "Big Pimpin'" (as Solange played a tambourine and Beyoncé showed off her best moves) and "Dirt Off Your Shoulder." When Beyoncé's "Get Me Bodied" played, revelers circled around the Knowles sisters as they reenacted dance moves from the song's video. Champagne flowed as guests noshed on barbecue chicken, cornbread, greens and mac and cheese (served buffet-style). Cupcakes with large white candles were passed through the crowd as everyone sang a rocked out version of "Happy Birthday" to Solange, who blew out the candles and banged on her tambourine.

A NEW HOPE

Barack Obama makes his second appearance on the cover of ROLLING STONE magazine. Inside the magazine the Democratic Presidential nominee share his thoughts on the state of hip hop as well as to what is currently playing on his iPod. Here's an excerpt from the magazine:

Asked what he thought of rap, Obama said the genre has broken down barriers within the music world, though he's concerned about his daughters -- Malia, 9, and Sasha, 7 -- listening to it.
"I am troubled sometimes by the misogyny and materialism of a lot of rap lyrics," he said, "but I think the genius of the art form has shifted the culture and helped to desegregate music."
He said hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and rappers Jay-Z and Ludacris were "great talents and great businessmen."
"It would be nice if I could have my daughters listen to their music without me worrying that they were getting bad images of themselves," he added.
