Las Vegas Weekly is reporting that Jay-Z's newly-opened 40/40 club in Las Vegas has suffered a number of difficulties since its opening on Dec. 30, including the exit of more than 100 staff members who were either fired or decided to quit their posts.
Former employees have hit up MySpace and TMZ.com to complain publicly about the club's policies, which reportedly include on-the-spot, mid-shift firings without investigations, threats, degrading treatment, use of the n-word by management, and a lack of preparedness.
Club manager Ramon Mata says such firings are normal for a new venture just getting off the ground.
One manager was dismissed over questionable operating procedures before the club even had its grand opening. Of the original 10 managers hired at the club, only two are still employed.
