Diddy is getting another MTV reality show this fall. His hit MTV reality show, “Making the Band,” will be getting it’s own spinoff called “Making the Rock Band.” The new show will take on the basic structure of the first set of Making the Band shows, except this time they’re aimed at the new rock genre.

MTV programming head Tony DiSanto says:
“Our main goal is to always pull the rug out. If something is working great, we don’t want to do it again, we want to do something new. Our viewers expect us to keep evolving, genre-busting and taking chances.”
