"THE GAME" MOVES TO BET & STACEY DASH JOINS THE CAST

After three seasons airing on the CW Network, comedy sitcom ‘The Game’ will be switching playing fields to BET. Well, sort of.
According to ‘Variety,’ the basic cable network recently acquired off-net rights to the comedy series from CBS TV Distribution and will begin re-airing episodes from the show’s first two seasons this month.
The sitcom, which stars Tia Mowry Hardrict, Brittany Daniel, Hosea Chanchez, Coby Bell, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Pooch Hall is the first series acquired by newly appointed BET executive Vice President of acquisitions, Barbara Daniels.
This is something I went after the minute I got to BET,” she noted. “Not only does it have really fresh African American stars, but it has a great lineup of guest stars. People like Robin Givens and Vivica Fox — these are people who are regularly on our network.”
In addition to ‘The Game’ finding another home on television, actress Stacey Dash will also join the popular CW series for their forthcoming third season as a recurring cast member.
The ‘Clueless’ star revealed that she will play the role of a sportscaster who hangs “around with all the athletes and talking to them like she’s one of the guys, except that she’s a woman. She has this huge attraction to Jason and I guess they both have an attraction and chemistry.”
BET Networks also has the rights to the third season, which is currently set to air on the CW this fall.
