Jay-Z finally responds to the scorned... The entrepenuer/hip hop artist made a statement about the comments that were made by both Foxy Brown and Teairra Marì:
The Hip-Hop industry has a new power couple, as Foxy Brown and Rick Ross are now an item. Sources from both camps have confirmed the couple are dating seriously and that Brown, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, is making plans to relocate to Miami in order to be closer to Ross. “They are in fact a couple. Rick Ross swept her off of her feet and this is gonna [be] the next Big Hip-Hop couple,” an inside source told AllHipHop.com. “They both are in love.”
Foxy Brown has grown close to Rick Ross’ family, his kids and his mother. In addition to their new romance, both Rick Ross and Foxy Brown are working on new music.
Inga “Foxy Brown” Marchand (pictured above with her mother) was released from jail today. The rapper, who has been in jail since last Sepetember was pictured smiling as she left Rikers Island.
Foxy Brown is still in jail for probation violation but she is some how able to manage brokering a deal with VH-1 that would have her star in a reality show as soon as she is released from jail on Friday, April 18. Brown - real name Inga Marchand - has been incarcerated in New York's notorious Riker's Island prison since September. The show will follow Foxy's life out of jail as she starts to push her next album "Brooklyn's Don Diva." No word yet on potential titles of the show or when it would air...

A New York judge has denied Foxy Brown’s request to be released from jail early so she can travel to California to repair an electronic ear implant.
Foxy Brown, born Inga Marchand, is serving a one-year prison sentence on Rikers Island for repeatedly violating the terms of her 2004 probation.
On January 17, Brown’s attorney Laura Dilimetin asked acting state Supreme Court Justice Melissa Jackson to amend the rapper’s sentence, so she could visit Los Angeles’ House Clinic tomorrow (January 30), where she received her initial treatment for her hearing loss.
On Thursday (January 24), State Supreme Court Judge Melissa Jackson ruled against the Brown’s petition.
Prosecutors argued that the 29-year-old rapper can receive the treatment that she needs in New York and labeled the request a "desperate and frivolous petition."
In a four-page letter to Judge Jackson, Brown claimed that she was terrified in prison because she cannot hear properly.
"I am terrified of not hearing a fire alarm go off, or being locked in a cell, and someone not being kind enough to let me out, since not everyone understands the severity of my condition," wrote Marchand.
