The demanding diva and fashion maven has been trying for a child with her lover, Djimon Hounsou, and sources say the two have finally made magic. "She's pregnant," a source told UsMagazine. Currently, Simmons has two daughters, Ming Lee Simmons, 8, and Aoki Lee Simmons, 5, with ex husband Russell Simmons.

Jill Scott, 36, is pregnant with her first child, the R&B singer and actress revealed to reporters at the Television Critics Association conference in Los Angeles on Friday. Promoting her new HBO series The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency Scott said she discovered that she was pregnant just before leaving for Botswana where she filmed the show. "The first trimester I spent in Botswana," said the star, who is due April 25. "That was one of the biggest challenges of my life. First trimester! You're sick every morning. It was seven hours time difference, the heat, the bugs, the 14 hour days." Still, the actress, who is engaged to drummer Lil' John Roberts, says she's glad she went through with the plans to film. "My doctors gave me a clean bill of health and said you can do this, so I did it."

T.I. and his girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle welcomed their second son together after midnight Friday morning. The infant’s name is Major Harris, and he weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz. He is the fifth child for T.I., 27, and his second with Cottle. The couple are already parents to son King Harris, 3.

Boston Celtics’ Kevin Garnett, 31, and wife Brandi Padilla-Garnett are expecting their first child together later this year. No due date has been given but Brandi is a little more than halfway through her pregnancy.

It's double the baby joy for Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony: They're the proud new parents of twins, a boy and a girl, Lopez's manager tells PEOPLE exclusively. The babies were born early Friday in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. "Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," Lopez's manager Simon Fields tells PEOPLE exclusively. They're the first children for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39.

Congratulations are in order for Nicole Richie and her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden. They are now the parents of a baby girl, the couple's rep at Handprint Entertainment tells PEOPLE.com. Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. "The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents," says the rep, who confirmed the birth.

Atlanta R&B singer Monica has another new man in her life: a baby boy, born Tuesday afternoon at an Atlanta, Georgia area hospital., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The little tyke, who came into the world three weeks early, weighed in at a healthy five pounds, six ounes, and was delivered without complications. Still awaiting a first name, Monica’s manager said that the baby boy’s middle name will be Montez, the same as Monica’s brother. Mother and child are said to be doing fine and are expected to leave the hospital Friday afternoon.
