CIARA DOSEN'T REMEMBER ANYMORE
Ciara's new song entitled "I Don't Remember" has been leaked. Reportedly coming from the writing hands of Ne-Yo, the ballad track is believed to be listed on her upcoming third major studio album "Fantasy Ride". Ciara is expected to release "Fantasy Ride" on April 7th. On the new album, she teams up with Ludacris in the single "High Price". She also joins forces with T-Pain on "Go Girl" and Young Jeezy in "Never Ever".
POLOW DA DON: "Me & Ciara Are Like Timbaland & Aaliyah"
Hit-maker Polow Da Don spoke with MTV.com recently about working on Ciara's forthcoming 'Fantasy Ride' LP. During the interview, the 'Promise' producer made an interesting comparison about himself and Ciara and the late Aaliyah and Timbaland:
Ciara's upcoming album, Fantasy Ride, may feature a slew of hitmaking producers... But according to Polow Da Don, only he and CiCi have something special enough to become the new Aaliyah and Timbaland."We both came up and were raised in the same camp," Polow explained to MTV News. "We've known each other for a long time. We actually just have this natural chemistry that I don't even have with some of my own artists. I understand her and I understand what she should be doing," the producer added."And one thing people do say about when I work with Ciara is that I make her sound better than ever," he continued. "I make her sound like a vocalist versus the other stuff she may do that's more performance, where she can get on the dance floor. It's kind of the same thing with Aaliyah. She may not have been the best singer, but her voice was so unique and her sound — she had her own lane, and I think Ciara is like that same thing."
CIARA'S NEW LOOK DIDN'T HELP
Ciara’s new album has been derailed. Orginally scheduled to be released on December 9th, Fantasy Ride was then pushed back to January 2009 and now according to Entertainment Weekly, has officially been pushed back even further, to Spring of 2009. The first single from Fantasy Ride, Go Girl, failed to spark an interest with fans, peaking at #78 on the Hot 100 chart before falling off after only four weeks. “The response to ‘Go Girl’ wasn’t strong enough to ignite an album,” says a rep for the Zomba Label Group. “It’s a nice setup single because the video introduces Ciara’s new look and her new body, but it’s not the opener.”

STARS JOIN TO FIGHT CANCER
Female music heavy-weights, including Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Ciara, Ashanti and Mariah Carey, came together to record 'Just Stand Up', in aid of the "Stand Up To Cancer" campaign. The track, which is very uplifting, made its debut today on various US radio stations. The charity tune was conceived by Antonio "L.A." Reid, who produced it with longtime creative colleague Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds. All 15 singers will share the stage to perform the song live on Sept. 5 during the "Stand Up to Cancer" television special.
