NOW SEE THIS: T.I. & DAY 26
A NEW ADDITION
T.I. and his girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle welcomed their second son together after midnight Friday morning. The infant’s name is Major Harris, and he weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz. He is the fifth child for T.I., 27, and his second with Cottle. The couple are already parents to son King Harris, 3.
Congrats to the happy couple.
NOW HEAR THIS
The King is back with a new song called “No Matter What.” Since October 26, rapper T.I. had been on a court-ordered house arrest for allegedly attempting to purchase three machine guns and two silencers. While awaiting his trial T.I. pened a new album. The album, titled Paper Trail, is a reference to T.I.'s return to writing his lyrics on paper, which he hasn't done since releasing his first album I'm Serious almost seven years go. Paper Trail is due in stores this September.

E3 NEWS BITES
Beyonce Knowles, Ali Larter and Idris Elba will star in “Obsessed,” a thriller that Screen Gems will put into production this summer. Beyonce Knowles will be exec producer along with her father, Mathew Knowles. In “Obsessed,” Elba will play an asset manager who has a knockout wife (Knowles) and thriving career until a temp office worker (Larter) begins stalking him.

Patience is a Virtue
T.I. must wait another six weeks before trying to convince a judge to throw out key evidence obtained against him in October when he was arrested on federal firearms charges. U.S. Magistrate Alan Baverman postponed a suppression hearing, initially scheduled for Thursday, until Feb. 19. T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested Oct. 13, just hours before the BET Hip-Hop Awards ceremony in Atlanta for allegedly trying to buy machine guns and silencers in a Midtown parking lot.
E3 Seen In The Magazines
T.I. is Complex and Keyshia Cole Gets Back to The Way It Is
T.I. is featured in the November issue of Complex mag. E3 is loving the theme “Home for the Holidays with the American Gangster”.
T.I. Will Remain In Jail
He wants to see $2.2 million in cash, upfront, like a ransom straight out of a South American corporate kidnapping. He even asked for equity in T.I.’s mom’s property, until the lawyers told him that she didnt have any. What the hell! What’s next…does your grandmother have any savings bonds, Mr. Harris? A coin collection?
-TI gives up his driver’s license and his passport.
-He submits to random drug testing.
-He pays for a court-appointed monitor to live in his house, and watch him 24 hours a day, making sure he never leaves, and searching everyone that goes in and out of the house. There would also be some sort of electronic monitoring (ankle cuff?).
-He offered equity in his homes, worth $1.5 million.
-And 5 record execs signed bonds for another $700,000.
