Here’s some material from Jennifer Hudson’s debut self-titled album, featuring none other than our American Idol, Fantasia Barrino. The song is called I'm His Only Woman, and originally was supposed to have both their J. Records label mate Jazmine Sullivan on it, but they replaced her with Fantasia. This is a good song with an old school vibe.
Check out these two new promo photos for Jennifer Hudson’s self-titled debut album, in stores and online September 30th. The album features the single “Spotlight” and collaborations with Timbaland, Robin Thicke, The Underdogs, Diane Warren, and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
The word on the curb is that this is the official album cover for Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson. Her long-awaited self titled debut is due September 30th via J Records.
Jennifer Hudson premiered her first music video for “Spotlight” (written by Ne-Yo) on Tuesday. The video was directed by Chris Robinson and is the first single off her self-titled debut album, in stores on September 30th.
You’ve seen her in ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Dreamgirls,’ and now singer-turned-movie-star JENNIFER HUDSON is coming back with the first single from her upcoming album! Entertainment Tonight's host Kevin Fraizer joined the bubbly singer on the set of “Spotlight,” a song about relationship insecurities.
Although the song was written and co-produced by hit-maker Ne-yo, Jennifer says, “It definitely tells a story of me and my life. What I sing really happens to me.”
As for the video, she made sure to have some man candy for the ladies — some very cute boys!
Jennifer’s new album drops in September. “Spotlight” is on iTunes now!
