Cops in Georgia arrested a 17-year-old boy on Friday and charged him with killing his mother, who was a local sheriff’s deputy, and his two small sisters. One of those little girls was the daughter of rapper Juvenile. Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. allegedly gunned down his mother, Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Deputy Joy Deleston, 39, and her two daughters, Micaiah, 11, and Jelani, 4.

Actress Meagan Good has a co-starring role in Mike Meyer’s new film, The Love Guru, and based on the newly released trailer- it looks like it is going to be a hit. In the movie, Meagan plays the wife of a hockey player whose game has gone south since she left him. Mike Meyers- The Love Guru, is called in to get the two back together and somehow Justin Timberlake’s freak-ish character is woven into the mix. The movie hits theaters June 20th.

Here’s the video for “Run,” the first single off Gnarls Barkley’s sophomore album The Odd Couple, in stores April 8th. The video stars Justin Timberlake. The concept is the perfect match for the energetic surrealism of “Run,” casting Gnarls in an imaginary early ‘90s public access show called City Vibin’.

Apparently when the label brought all their R&B artists to perform at Spotlight for LA Reid, along with a bunch of industry heads in NYC earlier this week, the feedback was less then thrilling. The performances were SOHH lackluster that a source told me that LA told Luda that he can take his acts and “hit the road”. As of right now Bobby Valentino, Shareefa, and the extremely talented Stephan Jones, AKA Mr. Ordinaray has all been dropped. Sources close to Bobby claim that the artist plans on dropping his next untitled CD on iTunes. No word yet on where Shareefa, and Steph Jones will end up. Word on the streetz is that DTP heads are planning on severing ties with Def Jam over all the drama.”
Miss Info has even put in her two cents saying “Well, yes, I’m hearing some confirmation that DTP is leaving Def Jam, but that “it was a mutual agreement.” There were differences in vision between DTP and LA Reid and that Luda’s label wanted more of a major push.”

Songwriter/artist/producer Stephen “Static Major” Garrett died unexpectedly on Monday in his hometown of Louisville, Ky. No official reports about his death are known, but many people are leaving their condolences on his myspace page. This is a major loss for the music industry.

Janet Jackson filmed a spoof on MTV’s hit show “My Super Sweet 16″ in which she complains about not getting her Porsche during her birthday hour. The promo will begin airing on Monday when MTV spotlights Janet as their artist of the week.
